Once again the air of Aligarh city has deteriorated. Three intersections have come in the red zone, while the air at five intersections is on the verge of becoming poisonous. People’s health has started getting affected due to suddenly poisonous air.
Due to government and non-government construction works going on at various places in the city, the air has become poisonous due to flying dust, fireworks, smoke emanating from houses, hotels, restaurants and factories. Even on December 4, the air of Collectorate and Company Bagh had become poisonous. But the Municipal Corporation took control in time. Due to which the air had improved. But on Sunday once again the AQI of Collectorate, Rasalganj and Company Bagh intersection crossed 300. Due to which it is in the red zone.
At the same time, the AQI of Masoodabad, Etah Chungi, Dubey Ka Padav, Center Point and Agra Road intersection has reached close to 300. These intersections are in the Orange Zone. That means the air of seven intersections is poisonous. Due to which the elderly and sick as well as children are facing breathing problems and skin diseases.
